Ads & Sponsors Committee

Help secure the financial support that keeps our productions shining! This team connects with local businesses, develops sponsorship packages, and maintains relationships with advertisers and donors who believe in the arts.

  • Identify potential sponsors and advertisers. Members research and create a list of businesses and individuals
  • Develop sponsorship packages. The committee creates a tiered structure of benefits that sponsors can receive for their financial or in-kind contributions. These packages may include brand visibility, advertising space in materials, social media promotion, and special recognition during events.
  • Create advertising opportunities. For advertisers, the committee defines the available ad spaces. They also establish pricing models and sales strategies to attract paying advertisers.
  • Solicit sponsors and advertisers. Committee members are often directly involved in outreach efforts, using their community connections to approach and negotiate with potential partners to secure financial commitments.
  • Build and maintain relationships. A key part of the role is to nurture long-term relationships with sponsors. This includes communicating progress, ensuring they receive their promised benefits, and gathering feedback on their experience.

Promotion Committee

Spread the word and the excitement! Members amplify CCT’s presence through social media, photos, posts, and community engagement. If you love storytelling, content creation, or social buzz, this is your stage.

  • Engaging the community: Monitoring social media channels for conversations related to the organization. Members may respond to comments, answer questions, and engage with followers to build a stronger community.
  • Following brand guidelines: Adhering to the organization’s social media policy regarding tone, voice, and approved messaging to ensure a consistent and professional public image.
  • Providing feedback to the Board of Directors: Reporting on online trends, audience engagement, and campaign performance to help the committee refine its social media strategy.

Show and Playwright Selection Committee

Have a passion for great stories? Join this group to review and evaluate submitted scripts, share feedback, and help select shows that inspire and entertain our audiences.

  • Review available shows and recommend selection: Review available musicals and pricing from MTI and Concord for mainstage musicals and junior productions. Provide top recommendations and costs to the board.
  • Review and analyze scripts: The primary responsibility is to read a large volume of submitted plays. They carefully analyze scripts for quality, themes, character development, and dramatic action.
  • Evaluate against criteria: Committee members assess how well each script aligns with the theater’s specific mission, artistic goals, and practical needs. Criteria often include audience appeal, technical requirements, casting feasibility, and budget.
  • Participate in discussions: Members attend regular meetings to discuss the plays they have read, share their insights, and collectively decide which scripts to advance for further consideration. Complete written evaluation of each play read.
  • Maintain confidentiality: Members are typically expected to keep their discussions and the scripts under review confidential until a public announcement is made.
