Introduction to Improvisational Acting

class Canceled

Unfortunately we need to cancel this class, but we plan to hold it again in the fall! All registrations will be refunded, we are very sorry for the last minute change.

This introductory class focuses on getting acquainted to the fun and excitement of the stage. Improv is one of the most valuable tools an actor can possess! Through improv the actor experiences fresh images, concentration, observation, communication, the creation of characters, using your imagination and teamwork.

You will learn through an unscripted performance how to spontaneously perform scenes on stage. If you are ready to take your acting skills to get familiar with this type of acting, then this is the class for you.

Our instructor, Deb Popillo, has taught a variety of acting/improve classes for over 30 years. In addition, she directed a professional murder/mystery troop called Merriment and Mystery for 10 years.

We are very fortunate to have her share her expertise with our community!
