2026 Summer children’s theater workshop

The Colchester Community Theatre (CCT) announces its Summer Children’s Theater Workshop of Dare To Dream JR, July 6-17 at 9am-12pm Mon-Fri, culminating in a performance on Sat, July 18th at 2pm.

Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. Ast the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire and make anything possible.

The workshop is open to all children entering grade 2 through grade 12 in the fall. Every child must audition to attend, there are NO exceptions. They only need to attend 1 audition, not both dates.

**All children who enroll are accepted, auditions are solely for the purpose of cast placement.**

Audition Details
When: Sunday, June 14th, 1:30-3:00 & Monday, June 15th, 6:30-7:30
Where: Ahavath Achim Synagogue (84 Lebanon Ave, Colchester), downstairs, no appointment necessary.
Bring: Each child is required to bring sheet music or an instrumental recording and be prepared to sing. An accompanist will be provided.
